Clinical Documentation Time & Cost Calculator

How much time — and, if you enter your own hourly rate, how much money — clinical documentation actually costs your practice, and what changes if you cut your per-note time down. This isn't tied to any product or price plan: every number below comes from what you type in, not an assumption we make on your behalf.

Fill in your own numbers — the defaults are just a starting point, not a claim about your practice.

How this is calculated

Nothing here is hidden. Notes per week = patients/day × days/week. Time today and time after are each notes/week × the minutes you entered, in hours. Time saved is simply the difference between the two, carried out to a yearly total by multiplying by the weeks/year you entered. Equivalent extra visits divides the weekly minutes saved by your entered visit length. Reclaimed workdays divides yearly hours saved by 8. If you entered an hourly rate, the dollar figures are just hours saved × that rate — no other assumption is added.

This is an estimate built entirely from the numbers you provided, not a guarantee or a measurement of your actual practice — nothing here is submitted anywhere or stored.
