Where patient data goes

Patient data in Cognivolt is collected with consent, kept only as long as it is needed, and stored where you can point to it.

  1. Consent first

A session cannot start until you confirm the patient has consented to recording and AI-assisted documentation.

  2. Audio deleted

Session audio is permanently deleted once the note has been generated from it.

  3. Stored in the EU, encrypted

Records are stored in Google Cloud’s Belgium region and encrypted at rest.

  4. Agreements

A Business Associate Agreement on every plan, and a Data Processing Agreement accepted at signup.

  5. Sub-processors

Every sub-processor and the safeguards for any transfer are listed on a public page, as the DPA requires.
